After completing the class, 'interns' are required to complete 50 hours of volunteer service to recieve certification as a Master Gardener.

topics.The course, called the Pro Gardener, course lasts for twelve weeks each fall, with classes held one evening each week from 6 to 9pm.Lecturers fall.Lecturers include professionals in horticulture and landscaping, Penn State faculty members, and experts from Agricultural Extension.Upon successful completion of coursework, attendees can become interns in the Master Gardener program and work toward full certification as they volunteer for community service work and educate the public about gardening.

Tickets available at all gardens:Adult $10 are available June 29
The garden tour will be held even if there is light rain so dress appropriately. In the case of very heavy rain, the garden tour will be rescheduled.
Penn State Master Gardeners of Centre County will act as guides at each garden. In addition, they will answer your general gardening questions on the tour.
Garden owners are not responsible for any accidents or injuries.
Gardens may have uneven surfaces.We ask that you wear appropriate footwear.
Please keep children in hand.Water features and uneven surfaces may pose a danger to children.
